Squid Game — even if you haven't seen it, there's a good chance you've heard of this show. The show has successfully caught the zeitgeist of contemporary culture. Alienation, discrimination, desperation, and poverty are a prescription for disaster when combined. It will make you question how far you are ready to go in order to avoid losing a game that could cost you your life.

Squid Game, which premiered on September 17th, is already breaking records. It has become the most popular show in over 90 nations, including the United Kingdom and the United States. Many people are still trying to come to terms with the sadistic pleasure that comes from grown-ups dying while playing children's games... well, that took a dark turn.

Apart from the series itself, everyone was wowed by none other than Squid Game's HoYeon Jung's stunning attractiveness. In just three weeks, she gained more than 13 million Instagram followers, making her one of the most popular Korean actresses. Her acting skills are undeniable, but her beauty has also gotten a lot of attention, with Vogue highlighting her in their "Beauty Secrets" series. She has adorned the covers of the magazine in the past too.

However, with Korea's plastic surgery boom, many people are wondering if the star's natural beauty is due to her going under the knife. According to the International Society of Aesthetic Cosmetic Surgery (ISAPS), South Korea has the fifth highest number of plastic surgeons in the world, with 2,571 in 2019 (before to the pandemic). According to a poll conducted by the Hana Institute of Finance in Seoul, post-pandemic sales increased by 10%. The Zoom effect, as well as gym closures due to lockdown, could be to blame. Many Koreans' desire to acquire ideal beauty was only heightened as a result.

According to another analysis issued by Grand View Research, the Korean aesthetics business was valued at $1.6 billion in 2019, with a CAGR of 13.3% from 2020 to 2027, with a market size of $4.5 billion in 2027. In Korea, non-invasive procedures like Botox and dermal fillers are more popular.

The surgeons at Medicany, a healthcare service company based in Frankfurt,Germany had some things to say regarding HoYeon Jung's plastic surgery. They had looked at a variety of photos of the 27-year-old model to find it. While the three doctors, Dr. Hassan Soueid, Dr. Jacob Duman, and Prof. Dr. Fuat Yuksel, agreed on several points, they disagreed on whether or not the actress had undergone plastic surgery or what procedures she had.

Dr. Hassan Soueid and Dr. Jacob Duman both agree that HoYeon Jung had buccal fat removal surgery, which removes extra fat pads from the face. According to Dr. Soueid and Dr. Duman, this helps make HoYeon Jung's cheeks look thinner by reducing the size of the cheeks. However, when it comes to any further procedures she may have received, the two surgeons' viewpoints disagree.

Dr. Soueid claims that HoYeon Jung had a chin filler to improve the projection of her chin, but Dr. Duman disagrees, claiming that she had fillers in her cheeks rather than her chin. Last but not least, Prof. Dr. Fuat Yuksel believes that HoYeon Jung's attractiveness is all-natural and that she has had no cosmetic treatments.

Surgeons' divisive views should come as no surprise, as there are always variations of opinion in the medical field. Whether or not HoYeon Jung underwent plastic surgery, you won't be able to stop yourself from binge-watching the episode and admiring her sparkling beauty. Plastic surgery or no plastic surgery, she's a sight to behold.
